Felon shoots, eliminates leashed dog in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV)– A felon living in Nashville was detained Sunday after cops state he shot and killed his next-door neighbor’s leashed dog.

According to an affidavit, cops were dispatched Dec. 3 to 3519 Chesapeake Drive at about 5 p.m. in action to an animal being shot.

Authorities consulted with the victim, who stated 22-year-old Ledeidric Roberson shot his dog “in his own yard.”

The victim stated his pets were leashed within the boundary of his home when Roberson’s pets assaulted them. The victim stated Roberson contended his pets 6 to 8 times. Among the bullets struck the victim’s dog Ace in the hip.

Roberson mentioned, “get the other dog in your house prior to I shoot it, too,” the affidavit stated. He later on informed cops he contended the pets out of self-defense due to the fact that he feared for his life. Roberson stated he contended one dog attempting to eliminate it and contended the other dog attempting to terrify it, according to cops.

Roberson was founded guilty in 2015 of worsened attack. As a felon, it’s prohibited for him to have a weapon.

City Authorities detained Roberson and charged him with purposefully eliminating an animal and illegal gun belongings. He stays in prison on a $75,000 bond.

Ace was required to a vet center, where he passed away.
