Christmas Bird Count Nears

The annual Christmas Bird Count, a long time tradition, will be held on Dec. 17.

As previously reported by AVV’s Dan Smith, “the Christmas Bird Count is a national (and international) birding event every year to give ornithologists and those involved in species preservation efforts a broad volunteer force to help compile some important data on the health of numerous bird species.”

If you would like to participate or have questions, you are asked to Sally Waterhouse [email protected] by Dec. 10.
