An deserted hamster has been rescued from a Dalston avenue after being present in a unclean and dirty cage.
The feminine hamster was discovered on Pembury Highway in Dalston by a member of the general public at round 8pm final Friday (April 1).

RSPCA animal rescue officer (ARO) Nicola Thomas has since collected the Syrian hamster and is caring for her at residence.
