A three-day celebration has actually been arranged in St Helena, December, 3,4,5 for Jonathan the tortoise who turns 190. Jonathan is thought to be the oldest chelonian alive. Residents are welcomed to Jonathan’s celebration and his tortoise buddies at his paddock for the unique occasion which is expected will consist of a birthday cake, hats and music Although it is not understood precisely how old Jonathan is, researchers think he is commemorating his 190th birthday this year.
