Can you identify the 2nd dog in this brainteaser? (Image: Jagran Josh)

Only those with a high IQ have the ability to spy the 2nd dog in this head-scratching animation in under 5 seconds. Within this visual fallacy are 2 dogs. One is apparent, however the other is anything however.

The vibrant image shows two women having a natter in the woods.

As the sun goes down, a beige and white coloured pooch is poking its head out from behind the purple dress of the woman on the right. But that’s not the pup you’re looking for.

The woman on the left is wearing a red dress and a pink apron and doesn’t appear to have a dog behind her, as her friend does.

Don’t be distracted by the vivid colours or intense imagery, there’s a second canine in there somewhere.

If you’re struggling and need a clue, move your attention away from the purple-dressed woman and focus instead on the other elements of the picture.

Social media exploded with dumbfounded users unable to notice the beige puppy’s companion.

These tests are designed to give you a guide on your IQ, however what is an IQ anyway?

Mensa defines IQ as “a type of standard score that indicates how far above, or how far below, his/her peer group an individual stands in mental ability”.

Psychologist William Stern coined the phrase in 1912, in relation to the German word Intelligenzquotient.

According to the BBC, 2-thirds of the population have an IQ between 85 and 115.

Approximately 33.3 per cent of Brits has an IQ of 115 or more.

If you’re in the top one per cent of IQs in the UK, you’ll have a rating of 135 or more.
