‘Won’t be pet dog’: Abhishek Banerjee after CBI quizzing in Bengal jobs rip-off | Kolkata

After being grilled by the CBI for over 9 hours on Saturday in the West Bengal school recruitment rip-off, TMC nationwide basic secretary Abhishek Banerjee called it a ‘waste of time’. Banerjee, who occurs to bethe nephew of West Bengal primary minister Mamata Banerjee, included that he was being targeted as he declined to be a ‘pet dog of the bosses in Delhi’, describing the judgment BJP federal government at the Centre.

Being questioned for the very first time in connection with the multi-crore rip-off, Banerjee asserted that he was cooperative with the officers’ concerns.

“I was questioned for 9 hours 40 minutes by the CBI. This was a total waste of their time and my time. I will not be a pet dog of Delhi. Arrest me if you have proof against me. We will not bow down to you,” said the TMC leader while including they will continue the battle.



Banerjee declared that he was being pestered by the BJP in an effort to prevent his just recently introduced Jono Sanjog Yatra, which will resume on Monday.

He likewise declared that BJP employees, implicated of a number of criminal offenses, did not need to deal with harassment like TMC leaders, who were determined on not falling at the feet of the Centre.

The CBI had actually sent a notification to Banerjee on Friday afternoon to appear at the firm’sNizam Palaceoffice at 11 am. The firm summons followed the Calcutta High Court on Thursday enabled the quizzing of the TMC leader in the recruitment rip-off in West Bengal schools.

Banerjee’s name emerged in a grievance submitted by Kuntal Ghosh,an apprehended TMC youth wing leader, where he declared that main examining firms were pushing him to call the TMC MP in the event.



Central firms formerly questioned Abhishek, his partner and his sister-in-law in relation to a coal smuggling rip-off case.
