Sweet Dog Waits In Cage Near The Road, Hoping Someone Will See Her

Abandoned in a cage near the side of a hectic roadway in Florida, a sweet dog called Natalie paced around the little space, hoping somebody would see her. Without food or water, Natalie was starting to weary and hungry — she required help, and quickly.

When a passerby ultimately observed Natalie, they understood something was incorrect, so they signaled the Humane Society of Tampa Bay Animal Hospital. After hearing the news, rescue staff were out the door in minutes.

“Everyone sprang into action,” Regan Blessinger, Humane Society of Tampa Bay marketing and material supervisor, informed The Dodo.

As rescuers approached the cage, they might inform Natalie was a bit anxious — she was trembling in a corner, preventing their touch. However, when they released her from the confined metal box, they instantly saw her state of mind shift.

“Her tail wagged when she was out of the crate,” Blessinger said.

Once at the animal medical facility, Natalie was evaluated for injuries, provided a bath and taken pleasure in great deals of food. All the while, she received lots of snuggles from team member, who desired her to feel comfy and safe.

“Despite the scars on Natalie and the fact that she was left all alone, she was so loving and happy,” Blessinger said. “We could tell she was relieved she was now being taken care of.”

Soon, the dog who utilized to tremble in the corner was excitedly having fun with anybody she satisfied and asking for scratches at every chance.

“Natalie was timid at first but warmed up to people and dogs quickly!” Blessinger said. “She was loved by staff and volunteers because [of] how she would lay in the sun and look at you, waiting for some butt scratches.”

After just a month at the shelter, Natalie discovered her permanently family. The sweet dog, who’d when fretted that she’d constantly be alone, was lastly part of a whole — headed home to take pleasure in the life she should have.
