SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- Salinas Police are examining a dog theft that occurred on Saturday night

The reported theft occurred around 6:27 p.m. at a house on Larkin Street. The dog’s owner, Andrea Ferreyra offered the Ring Camera video of the reported theft to KION which you can see listed below.

Ferreya informs KION that a few of her family members were home at the time of the theft. She thinks her dog Chica got loose and was beyond the front door when the man identified the dog and took her.

Chica is a one years of age teacup yorkie. She has a little black body, brown and gray face plus brown and gray arms. Chica was using her silver collar at the time of the theft.

Additional picture of Chica, picture thanks to Andrea Ferreyra

If you have actually seen Chica in the location or understand the man that took her, you are asked to call Salinas Police.
