PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) – The first-ever Pueblo group canine walk is coming to the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk, courtesy of a partnership between the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce and Visit Pueblo.

The Dog Days of Summer will take place on the night of July 10 from 6:30 p.m. to eight:30 p.m.

The free occasion is the spotlight of Pueblo Dog Week, a marketing campaign by Visit Pueblo geared toward showcasing town’s dog-friendly providers and facilities.

At the top of the pack will likely be Mayor Heather Graham, who will lead the walk alongside her canine, Lucy.

The walk will host a wide range of distributors, shelters and pet-based organizations with giveaways, instructional data and free treats in your four-legged greatest buddy.

PAWS Animal Shelter of Pueblo may even be on the walk with dogs available for adoption and able to discover their eternally home.

Some eating places on the Riverwalk will even offer particular reductions and treats for attendees that cease by with their furry associates.

It will not be a structured walk – as a substitute, the Chamber of Commerce mentioned the occasion will let company discover distributors and eating places at their very own tempo.

Dogs are required to stay leashed at some stage in the occasion, and house owners are anticipated to wash up after their pets.

The canine walk is free to the general public. Downtown Pueblo will provide free parking for the occasion as nicely.
