Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog was killed in a hit-and-run. The occurrence occurred on Nantwich Road, in Crewe, at 3pm on April 15.
Officers are appealing for the driver of a white Mercedes Sprinter van to come forward after the dog was struck at traffic control.
Sergeant Josh Jones of Crewe Neighbourhood Beat Team said: “Nantwich roadway would have been rather hectic at this time and there would have been numerous drivers and pedestrians who might have seen something that might help us in developing the specific scenarios of the occurrence.

“We’re particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white Mercedes Sprinter van, that is believed to be connected to the incident. We believe that the occupant of this vehicle may have vital information that could assist us as witnesses in our investigation and urge them to contact Cheshire Police.”
