WASHINGTON – A neighborly disagreement over dog poop is playing out on a single indication published on an utility pole in D.C.’s Burlieth area in Northwest.
The accusation and ramification on the indication: One next-door neighbor is putting grease on dog poop, probably attempting to get other dogs to consume it.
“To the next-door neighbor that puts grease on dog waste, I will publish your name if you don’t stop. I understand you believe this is amusing and will irritate dog owners that don’t get after their dog however it is simply incorrect,” the indication says.
The indication motivates neighborhood members to connect to the D.C. federal government if the grease-pouring next-door neighbor is distressed about other next-door neighbors not cleaning up after their dogs.

FOX 5 consulted with one vet who says grease can trigger numerous problems for dogs, such as throwing up, diarrhea, intestinal issues, and sometimes, pancreatitis.
Dog owners on the Burlieth/Glover Park line said they were distressed at the possibility of their dog possibly getting ill since of the grease.
