Lifeboat teams braved foggy waters to rescue a stranded dog cut off by the tide in Fife.
The cocker spaniel had actually been on a seaside walk with its owner at Ravenscraig Park, in Kirkcaldy, on the Firth of Forth on Sunday when it entered problem.
Teams from the RNLI Kinghorn raced out to the event at 3.35pm and set out in the foggy conditions with restricted exposure.
The group handled to find the missing out on cocker spaniel and pulled it from the coast onto a lifeboat, prior to reuniting it with its owner on Kirkcaldy Harbour.
Kinghorn RNLI Lifeboat published: “Dog cut off by the tide at the foot of a wall at Ravenscraig Park, near Kirkcaldy. The dog was employed the Lifeboat and required to Kirkcaldy Harbour to be reunited with his owner.
“Visibility for both rescues was very limited, and our crew did well navigating safely to, from and on scene for both rescues.”
