Scoot to the Starsa regional not-for-profit that concentrates on conserving paralyzed dogs and dogs with movement problems, coordinated with Jade Cannabis and MidTown District to host a dog-themed occasion on May 20, National Doggie Rescue Day, in Midtown Reno.
The occasion included a range of activities for dog fans, consisting of dog races, adoption opportunities, a dog image display, and more.
The focal point of the occasion was the dog races, in which dogs on 2 wheels will contend versus each other to identify the fastest dog in Midtown.
The dogs included in the race are all up for adoption through Scoot to the Stars, a foster-based rescue that offers products, food, veterinarian care, and wheelchairs to paralyzed dogs and dogs with movement problems at no cost to their foster households.
In addition to the races, guests had the chance to satisfy dogs available for adoption, consisting of those from Scoot to the Stars, the SPCA and other regional foster companies.
“We’re enjoyed be hosting this occasion in MidTown on National Doggie Rescue Day,” said Frances Weiner President of MidTown District. “We’re intending to raise awareness about the predicament of paralyzed and mobility-impaired dogs and motivate individuals to adopt dogs in requirement of caring houses.”
