A delighted dog took the spotlight in these engagement photos after jumping as much as ‘accept’ the ring from her owner prior to the laughing sweetheart had the opportunity to state ‘yes’.

Vicky Jones, from Plymouth, Devon, was stunned when her sweetheart Josh Stewart dropped to one knee and proposed while walking their animal Breeze along a beach last month on May 28.

Vicky said: ‘The proposition was extremely unforeseen. Apparently, he was preparing it for a number of months and everybody understood apart from me. When he asked the concern I said yes, however clearly the dog said yes prior to me. 

‘Apparently, dogs sense things prior to people so [she was right]. I remained in shock and I resembled, “what’s going on?” So the dog blazed a trail because circumstance. I do not understand if she believed the ring was a stick or a treat, she’s extremely food orientated.

‘She leapt up as quickly as he got down on one knee, she was so ecstatic. I didn’t acknowledge that the dog existed since I was so in the minute.

‘But fortunately it’s so amusing to recall at the images and see her playing the fool like she normally does. We simply chuckled so tough since it’s something she had actually constantly do. She’s constantly the centre of attention.

‘She has a good relationship with my fiancé. If I’m not at home, she cuddles up with him. She’s simply such an amusing dog. She has an irreversible smile on her face. I’m extremely lucky to have her, she’s a terrific dog.’

Although the happy couple are yet to set a date for their wedding event, Vicky declares that they are thinking about providing Breeze the function of ring bearer at the event.

Vicky, who has actually remained in a relationship with merchandiser Josh for more than 3 years, said: ‘I’d enjoy her to be a ring bearer at the wedding event, or [at least] simply be associated with all the images.

‘As long as we have a treat at the end of the aisle, she’ll certainly concern us. She enjoys the attention more than anything.’
