Police are appealing for witnesses and details after a female walking her dog was sexually bothered in Letchworth Garden City. The event happened at around 11.40am on Wednesday, May 17, on Eastern Way.

It is reported that a female was out walking her dog in the neighboring orchard prior to a man approached and sexually bothered her. He then left the location on foot after observing 2 other ladies who were out walking their dogs.



A 25-year-old man from Luton was apprehended on suspicion of triggering deliberate harassment, alarm or distress and launched on conditional bail while enquires continue. PC Remi Whates, who is examining, said: “We have actually performed fast-time queries and already made an arrest in relation to this stressful event.
