A man seen in CCTV video kicking a German shepherd and hanging him on a fence as they walk on a pavement has actually been offered a 12-month suspended prison sentence.

Terrance Anthony Tovey, 66, confessed triggering unneeded suffering to an animal and stopping working to fulfill the dog’s requirements at Llanelli Magistrates Court, Carmarthenshire.

CCTV from Penyfan Road, Llanelli reveals the dog, called Dylan, being abused at about 23:00 BST on 29 August 2022 prior to a spectator steps in.
