It’s pure happiness recorded in a single breeze..
Little Winnie flying high at the beach was captured on electronic camera by her daddy, veterinarian Sam Price, from Co Down.
And the image of the dog bounding throughout the sands, mouth open, ears flapping in the wind, was selected by BVA Live guests as the People’s Choice winner of this year’s British Veterinary Association’s Vet Photographer of the Year competitors.

Small animal practice veterinarian Dr Price from Garden Lodge Veterinary Clinic in Holywood, was granted the very first title in the popular competitors.
He entitled the image, ‘Jumping for Joy’, throughout a journey with Winnie in his campervan.
Dr Price said: “She likes absolutely nothing more than a beach day as you can see so I felt this was a fitting image for the quick.
“Thankfully there was an unusual bout of sunlight on the day that made for some great lighting and Winnie is quite photogenic which constantly assists.”
The competitors grants a winner and 2 extremely commended images in 3 classifications – Vets At Work , All Creatures Great And Small and Happy Pets That Make Us Smile – plus a winner in the brand-new People’s Choice classification
