A female has a big-hearted next-door neighbor to thank after he pulled her from a burning home near 43rd and Glendale opportunities over night.
Under his care, Paul Campbell’s 6 furry relative are living a life a lot much better than how he discovered them.
He deals with an organization called HARTT that humanely saves dogs off the street to discover them much better houses.
After a relationship, he found he has a huge heart for among the tiniest types.
“She said ‘Can I get a chihuahua?’ I said Chihuahua? no way. And that was about eight chihuahua’s ago and I’m a chihuahua guy now,” he said.
Campbell and his furry posse were coming home from a late night at the dog park on Thursday. He takes them to the park prior to bed every night.
On his method back, Campbell stopped when he saw a house on fire. The blaze was rippling out of windows.
Before he transferred to the Valley, Campbell was a Seattle Firefighter for 14 years.
So after he called 911, he said he “Kicked in the door and got down on my hands and knees, and got pressed out by the heat and the smoke.”
The previous firemen said he then broke through 2 windows searching for anyone who might be inside prior to he discovered a lady lying unconscious in the garage.
“A young guy from the neighborhood and I, together we pulled her out,” he said.
The lady was dealt with for smoke inhalation.
Phoenix fire authorities said she was required to the medical facility in steady condition.
The reason for the fire is presently unidentified.
What is clear about the dog papa and brave previous firemen, is that his huge heart of his understands no bounds.
“I don’t know, I guess I’m just lucky. I’m just lucky I feel that way,” he said.
While in Seattle, Campbell was recognized for helping visitors in the area who had their car taken. Today, he invests a few of his time offering with a number of animal rescue companies.
