SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police jailed 2 individuals after a prolonged examination into a drug ring and dog combating operation in South Kingstown.
Troopers utilized a search warrant at a South County Trail house on Thursday.
Mason Wilson, 35, and Tarra Jackson, 29, were jailed after authorities state they saved 7 dogs and took 9 weapons, 2 big capability feeding gadgets, and 112 grams of drug and fentanyl.

Wilson deals with 7 counts of unneeded cruelty to animals along with belongings with intent to provide numerous narcotics and unlawful weapon belongings charges.
Jackson deals with an ownership of drug and fentanyl charge.
They were both processed at the Wickford barracks and arraigned at Fourth Division District Court.
Police said Wilson was held without bail and purchased not to have any animals. Jackson was provided a bail of $3,000 with surety.
Wilson is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, according to online court records.
The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and South Kingstown cops helped in the examination.
