HERE at the County Press we love seeing your pet pictures and hearing about how your animals brighten up your lives – and you can tell us about your pet via the submissions form at the bottom of this story.

This week we have been talking to the members of the Facebook group, Isle Of Cats, about their favourite feline friends and they have sent us lots of lovely photos.

Scroll through the gallery of pictures above to see more of your cute cats…

There are adorable older rescue cats such as Misha Tallulah-Fluffypants and cheeky youngsters like Ralphie and Romeo.

Ralphie and Romeo (above) are two cheeky youngsters who are approaching two and belong to the Dent family of Sandown.

Misha-Tallulah Fluffypants (see gallery) is a ragdoll cat who belongs to Pauline Brook of Godshill. She said Misha was at Cats Protection when they adopted her, aged 12, just as the first lockdown started. Misha is a “very loving and fun cat.”

Serena and Marina (see gallery) came from Cats Protection and belong to Maria Rocio Swain of Shanklin. Maria is disabled and doesn’t get out much, but she said her cats give her a lot of love and company.

Spook and Oreo (see gallery) also belong to Melanie Clayton of Newport and are both two years old. Their high jinx are always amusing!

“Mmm, what can I eat?”, asks nine-year-old Dennis (above), who has been caught with his head in the fridge here! He was adopted by Melanie Clayton from a family who were moving.

Frank is a five-year-old male tortoiseshell cat, which owner Jane Kitts of Newport says is incredibly rare as tortoiseshell cats are normally female. He’s very special to her.

Jasmine (see gallery) is 12 weeks old and belongs to Maz Booth of Newport, who also has Tilly. Tilly is cuteness personified according to Maz. Tilly is 15 weeks old and is very playful.

Birch (see gallery) is a four-year-old Maine Coon cross, who is described as shy, but very beautiful, by owner Debi Morse of Godshill.

She also has Blackberry (see gallery), a four-year-old cat who loves dozing on the sofa and bringing Debi her pot of Dreamies cat treats.
