BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Presley is a 15-month-old neutered male that was rescued after being discovered in the middle of the roadway by Binghamton Police. On Jan. 10th he was rescued by Binghamton Police and brought over to SPEAK Animal Hospital to get care.

They brought the cat up and examined his injuries. They didn’t discover any breaks in his x-rays, however they learnt his diaphragm really had a hole that was injury implemented and they think he had actually been struck by a car.

The supervisor of the Cat Sanctuary at SPEAK said his organs were all up in his chest cavity and he needed to be reorganized. He remained in surgical treatment for about an hour and a half.

At SPEAK, they call their rescue cats based upon something that took place on the day they were brought. On Jan. 10th, 1956, Elvis Presley launched a tune therefore they chose to call the cat Presley.

Presley is enhancing every day and they are wishing to put him up for adoption next week when he has actually been immunized. Reynolds said Presley is an extremely sweet cat and likes being around individuals.

“He’s going to have a really bright future,” said Reynolds.
