A female was thrilled to hear her cat had actually won an intense competitors to be crowned the prettiest in Merseyside.
Leanne Connolly’s cat Milo was called the winner of our after more than 5,000 readers chose him, thousands more than the next runner up. We had actually asked our readers to send out in the prettiest photos of their cats and put them to a vote.
Leanne, 37, from Bootle, who purchased Milo on ‘impulse’ throughout the very first lockdown, said she was ‘comprised’ to hear he’d won the competitors and said she may even get him a little prize, along with some Dreamies cat treats.

Leanne, who has 3 cats and deals with her partner, informed the ECHO: “He was the last of the litter. I believe he was the runt.
“I saw him marketed and believed he’s such a great cat. He’s rather a mom’s boy. He’s consumed with brushes. I can’t brush my hair without him getting on my back.
“I constantly need to ensure to close the door when brushing my hair.”
Leanne said she saw our require the prettiest cat images on the ECHO app on her phone, and chose to ‘try’. She included: “The photo of him in package was taken when we were simply laying about.”
“I’m comprised. I’m a bit shocked he won.
“I was looking the other day and there was one cat with a tie on succeeding, so I was concerned and didn’t believe he’d win.
“It’s simply a little enjoyable however it’s good. I feel dead pleased with him. I pity my step-dad though. He said he’d match the votes in body crouches.”
