The family of a killed cat are so traumatised by what took place to their cherished family pet they can’t go to the park where ‘Brandy’ was apparently tortured and killed by 2 young kids.

Police declare 2 kids, aged 12 and 14, took the cat from a home in Glenwood, in Sydney’s west, at about 4.30pm on March 8.

Brandy was brought into a neighboring park prior to apparently being tortured and killed.

Chilling monitoring video footage revealed a mask-wearing boy diminishing a street with 17-year-old Brandy prior to she was later on discovered dead in a neighboring pond.

A Change.org petition, established by Kitten Rescue Australia, said the ‘park now brings with it the traumatic memory for the caring family of Brandy’.

About 25 minutes later on, a boy in a hoodie and face mask apparently nabbed the family cat from the front garden.

Ms Bidart said when she saw what took place next she needed to avert.

‘As quickly as I saw the (declared) very first blow to my cat I needed to avert,’ she said.

The 2 kids have actually given that been charged with animal ruthlessness after private investigators from Riverstone Police Area Command apprehended them at a Glenwood home at about 5pm on Monday.

Kitten Rescue Australia required more powerful sentences for supposed animal abusers.

Another member of Brandy’s family, Davina Bidart, composed on the petition page that ‘she was my lovely family fur infant’.

Another composed ‘So sorry to the family of this cat, I hope justice is served for your little friend’.

A regional homeowner said they were ‘mortified this took place in our residential area. We require justice for Brandy and her family’.

The kids were charged with torturing, beating and triggering death to an animal and getting rid of a killed or taken animal
