The Greenwich Town Party is hosting its very first parade today on Greenwich Avenue. The parade will process down the length of the Avenue prior to swinging back up towards the Havemeyer Field for a “Party in the Park” including live music and food.
The parade begins at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday and the “Party in the Park” ends at 8 p.m. Road closures and traffic diversions will remain in location throughout the occasion. The parade is totally free and available to the general public.

Greenwich Green & Clean is hosting a trip of Sleepy Cat Farm next month. The property is a 13-acre personal residence with sculpture-filled gardens and special architecture.

The “Just for GEMS” charity event is back for its 11th year at the Cos Cobbler restaurant today to raise funds for very first responders in Greenwich.
The Greenwich Emergency Medical Service is an independent non-profit organization that offers emergency situation treatment and ambulance services in the area. GEMS gets some financing from the town of Greenwich, however it is not part of the town federal government, so it depends on contributions to money operations.
