A three-year-old cat that was hit by a car in Burnaby previously this month requires some help and a brand-new home, says the BC SPCA.
The roaming feline called Finnigan was hurried to a veterinary healthcare facility on May 21 after Good Samaritans experienced him succumb to a hit-and-run and called into the Burnaby animal centre, according to supervisor Nicola McBain.
In a declaration Wednesday, the BC SPCA said Finnigan can be found in with a fractured jaw, a big injury on the side of his face that needed suturing, plus shredded paw pads and nails.
He needed prescription antibiotics, discomfort medication, skull X-rays and intravenous fluids, according to the release.
