A week-long event for cats began Saturday in Edmonton.

The yearly occasion is a fundraising event and has actually raised $130,000 for cat saves because 2014. This year, 100 percent of earnings will be contributed to the Furget Me Not Animal Rescue.
The celebrations began with a satisfy and welcome with Instagram traveler Gary the Cat at the Homes Alive Pets on 171 Street and Stony Plain Road.
