Cambridge Arts Theatre have actually revealed the primary cast of Cock Whittington and his Cat, this year’s Christmas pantomime, ranging from 1 December 2022 – 8 January 2023.
Leading the cast is Pantomime Acclaimed star Rolan Bell, going back to the Arts Theatre as the wicked King Rat, along with Matt Crosby as Sarah the Cook (who returns for his 17th Cambridge panto), Nichole Bird ( The Funny of Mistakes, Mercury Theatre/Storyhouse) as Ridiculous Billie, Luke Baker ( Billy Elliot, Curve) as Cock Whittington, Charlie Cameron ( The Ocean at the End of the Lane, National Theatre/West End) as Tommy the Cat, Ruby Ablett ( The Ocean at the End of the Lane, West End) as Alice Fitzwarren, Adrian Grove ( South Pacific, Chichester Celebration Theatre) as Alderman Fitzwarren, and Mandi Symonds ( Witness for the Prosecution, London County Hall) as Fairy Bowbells.
Finishing the cast are Callum Balmforth, Grant Jackson, Tamsin January, Thomas Langdale, Hayley-Jo Murphy and Celeste Williamson.
Cock Whittington and his Cat is directed by Michael Gattrell and is composed by Al Lockhart-Morley.
