Registration is now open for the Washington Island Birding Festival, set for May 12-14. In addition to Washington Island birding (throughout the 2022 celebration, individuals taped 132 types of birds), participants will spend Saturday early morning birding on Plum Island. Additional programs consist of an Owl Prowl and a discussion by Joel Voss, haven supervisor for the Green Bay and Gravel Island National Wildlife Refuges.
Registration – restricted to 50 individuals this year – is available at wianc.org.
