LEE COUNTY, Fla.– The Cape Coral Fire Department (CCFD) got a call about a blown transformer when it satisfied a not likely perpetrator.

According to the fire department, firemens discovered an osprey when they got to the blown transformer on March 17.

“[The bird] was unlucky in his decision on where to perch,” CCFD published on Facebook.

The firemens took the osprey to the East West Veterinary Care Center, which then moved the bird to the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife.

“We wish everyone more luck than not this Saint Patrick’s Day! And remember, some luck is made…like where to perch or how much to drink…so make good decisions and increase your luck,” CCFD said on Facebook.
