Coupons are now appearing in the Oxford Mail for you to vote for your favourite.

Jane Pettifer’s dog Wilma is one of the finalists.

She said: “She is only 14 weeks – she is quite intelligent for her age.

“She is a really playful puppy and very cute.”

Oxford Mail:

Amy Brown, from Witney, sent in a photo of her Springer Spaniel Rosie.

She said: “She’s my little sidekick and best friend, she works with me, comes out with me, basically never leaves my side.

“She had a horrible past and has overcome so much anxiety. She’s not just a dog to our family, she keeps us all smiling.”

Another finalist is Elaine Barclay’s dog Patch who is ‘handsome and smart’.

Oxford Mail:

Georgina Harkins, from Didcot, sent in a photo of her dog, also called Rosie, a Romanian rescue cross breed.

She said: “Rosie was found dumped on the streets starving and severely unwell at roughly two months old.

A campaign ran throughout April to celebrate and raises awareness of responsible pet ownership through educational campaigns and resources across its various platforms.

The NPM website says: “As an educational campaign, NPM is unique in bringing together animal welfare charities, professional bodies, pet businesses, schools, youth groups, and pet owners.”

The campaign was coordinated by the National Office Of Animal Health (NOAH) And UK Pet Food.
