A person died whereas reportedly attempting to rescue his canine after it was ‘spooked by fireworks’.

The 33-year-old obtained into problem within the water off the coast of Aberdeen, Scotland on Tuesday evening.

A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: ‘At 7.15pm on Tuesday, November 1, police have been known as to a report of concern for a person at Seashore Esplanade, Aberdeen.

‘The 33-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary the place he was pronounced useless a short while later.

‘There are not any suspicious circumstances surrounding the loss of life and a report will likely be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.’
