LETHBRIDGE, AB – An encouraging real estate operator in Lethbridge will quickly no longer provide the service.
The YWCA Lethbridge & District has actually revealed that it has actually selected to not pursue a brand-new agreement for its Permanent Supportive Housing Women’s Residence Program after the present agreement ends on March 31, 2023.
CEO Jill Young said in a press release that, “This was an extremely difficult decision that we know impacts multiple facets throughout our community.”
“Our housing first and harm reduction approaches are about supporting women where they need us most,” Young includes. “However, the constraints of the program model and associated available funding do not allow us to meet the complex needs of each of these women on a sustainable basis.”
