LEEDS, England (AP) — Sam Allardyce made a not likely go back to the Premier League on Wednesday when the 68-year-old previous England coach was employed by Leeds till completion of the season after the relegation-threatened club fired supervisor Javi Gracia.
Allardyce’s last training function was at West Bromwich Albion for the 2nd half of the 2020-21 season, when he stopped working in his short-term objective to keep the group in the Premier League.
That hasn’t stopped Leeds from relying on Allardyce, formerly considered as a survival expert, as the replacement for Gracia, who leaves after 2 months in the job and after winning just 3 of his 12 video games in charge.
Leeds lost 5 of its 7 video games in April and yielded 23 objectives because duration — the most allowed a single month in Premier League history. Gracia’s last video game showed to be the 4-1 loss at Bournemouth on Sunday.
