Bird sculpture path begins development

Groundwork has begun on a few of the Bord Waalk bird sculptures.

The first piece is Bird Song, by Aether and Hemera, two artists from Italy. Their piece displays the soundwaves made by the decision of a Roseate Tern, and was created after a go to to Amble in February 2020.

Sphere by artist Rob Mulholland

Further alongside the Braid, subsequent to the Shorebase Trust might be Sphere, from Scottish artist Rob Mulholland. This metal lattice of bird types was impressed by Rob’s go to to Amble simply earlier than the Covid lockdown.
