Alyssa Sanders, a 6th grade trainee at Aspen Elementary School, is this year’s winner of the Dog Jog Logo contest. Her illustration will be the main logo design for this year’s Dog Jog occasion and she will get a totally free tee shirt including her art work. Talent clearly runs in the family – Alyssa’s older sibling Neil won the Dog Jog logo design contest in 2020. The winners are selected on the basis of creative benefit, imagination and creativity.
The other young artists acknowledged this year consist of a 2nd location tie by Quyen Nguyen and Dillon Regele. Third location this year goes to Karina Cai and her cute Pomeranian. We wish to thank all of our young artists for their skill and interest.
The 2023 Los Alamos Dog Jog will be hung on Saturday, April 29 at 9 a.m. at Rover Park in White Rock. For more info, visit our website www.lafos.org. We want to see you there. Dogs, naturally, not just get to take part free of charge, they get an unique doggy reward at the goal. The 2023 Dog Jog uses both a timed 5K course and a non-competitive 2-mile walk. And we will be holding to our extremely enjoyable in-person and in dog reward event. We will have rewards for fastest doggy finishers and for prettiest ears, finest wag, and lots of other great doggy qualities.
