Would you like to spend a spring Saturday early morning on a walk through Brooklyn Bridge Park seeing bird life, assisted by Heather Wolf, author of Birding at the Bridge? During the previous week Ms. Wolf has actually found lots of types of birds in the Park, consisting of the Downy Woodpecker (picture above by your reporter on a walk with Ms. Wolf a number of years ago), Golden-crowned Kinglet, Eastern Phoebe, White-throated Sparrow, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, and Red-trailed Hawk. The walk will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday early morning, April 1. The group will satisfy in front of Lizzmonade on Pier One, near the Fulton Ferry entryway to the Park.
